We have listened. We have planned. We are ready.

We are excited to announce the Middle District Developmental League (MDDL) in partnership with Hendersonville Soccer Club (HSC), Montgomery County Soccer Association (MCSA), and Wilson United Soccer Club (WUSC). For Fall 2024, each club will a form a teams in U9/10 girls, U9/10 boys, U11/U12 Boys, and U11/U12 Girls (Birth years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) to compete against each other. The plan is to expand to other divisions after the inaugural season.

The kids will grow and be challenged, and we believe this is the future of youth soccer.

MCSA club leaders have been discussing this with HSC and WUSC for the past 2.5 years. A little over a year ago, we agreed the best approach was to formally commit to create an organized league dedicated to "fill the gap” that exists between “Rec” soccer and “Travel” soccer. All three clubs, along with Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA - our governing body), hired a professional sport consulting firm. We had extensive meetings to put together an organized plan to be implemented with the 3 largest recreational clubs in the area.

What does this mean for you with MCSA?

  • Sign-up for the Fall 2024 Rec Soccer Season.
  • Only players registered with MCSA for the fall season and classified as Division 4 ((not registered with any other club) can be rostered. Players selected will be transferred from Rec to MDDL.
  • MCSA Rec Soccer will NOT change! This is something in addition to our normal Rec League.
  • This is not travel soccer (classified as division 1-3 with TSSA). This is still classified under division 4 (Recreational Soccer) but technically called “Rec Plus.”
  • Costs for MDDL: For players selected In addition to the regular MCSA fee of $65, there is an additional cost of $50 (one-time per season, not per game) to cover the uniform.
  • Games will take place on Sundays.
