MCSA Middle School Soccer Program
REGISTER PLAYER(S)
We are proud to offer competitive soccer for middle school (grades 6-8) players. Girls
try out
and play in the fall; boys
try out
and play in the spring. The fee is $100 per player.
• The program is open to all CMCSS Schools. The player MUST attend the school they try out for. *Homeschool and CMCSS Virtual students may try out for zoned school.
* Other schools may
contact the Middle School Director
to request team formation.
• Each coach determines the days and times of his/her practices.
• Players are selected through
tryouts
.
• Season dates span 8-10 weeks, depending on the need for makeup games.
• Players selected will play for their respective middle schools.
• The Middle School Soccer Program is competitive, so playing time is not guaranteed.
• The season opens with a jamboree and concludes with a championship game.
• Games are played on week nights at Heritage Park, located near the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Peachers Mill Road in Clarksville, Tenn.
Because team placement is not guaranteed, we encourage you to
register your player
for both the Middle School Soccer Program and Recreational League Soccer. Most of our players play both-once registered for rec, the team is dependent on you and cannot just refund.
The purpose of the Middle School Soccer Program shall be to prepare Middle School soccer players for the more competitive High School programs and to provide a competitive playing environment by organizing Middle School soccer teams in the Montgomery County and surrounding areas. The Middle School Soccer Program is a subordinate structure to the Montgomery County Soccer Association (MCSA).
