FAQ'S
1. What ages are eligible?
Children that are “too young” for our rec league with birthdates between Jan. 1, 2019 and Dec. 31, 2019. This timeframe falls in line with the rest of our age groups.
2. Where and when will it be held?
Our Junior Academy will be held during our MCSA Saturdays at Heritage Park. We will have 4 sessions: 8:30, 9:30,10:30 and 11:30. Children will be assigned a session time.
3. How many kids will be in the Junior Academy?
We are limiting our Junior Academy to 80 players. Each session will have 2 coaches that will have 8-10 players each. We are thrilled to offer this low coach to player ratio.
4. What do I need for the Junior Academy?
Players will need to wear comfortable/active wear clothing, and cleats or sneakers. Players are encouraged to bring a size 3 soccer ball with their name on it. MCSA jerseys may be purchased and worn but not required.
5. Who will Conduct the training for the Junior Academy?
Acme Athletics will conduct all training with their licensed and trained coaches. They have an interactive and fun curriculum planned to provide our young players with the basics of soccer.
6. When are practices?
The Junior Academy is simply an interactive, fun way to learn the basics of soccer. The players will ONLY meet on Saturdays and play fun, soccer games. It is simply an early introduction to soccer.
7. Do we have to purchase cleats/shin guards?
Dress your kids comfortably. Sneakers are fine! If your little ones want cleats…go for it! Shin guards are not required.
8. How much does it cost?
MCSA is extremely grateful and excited to have such high quality training offered to our players at the low cost of $60. Acme Athletics and MCSA are committed to providing the best training we can to our youth.
9. How many sessions are there?
There are 6 sessions total (6 Saturdays)
