Return to Play Policy

MCSA is providing this guide for our members, facilities, spectators and any affiliations that support our league. We recommend anyone involved with MCSA soccer familiarize themselves with this guide when planning return to play activities. Additional regulations from other medical or governing bodies (e.g. CDC, TSSA, TN Governor, etc) should take precedent, especially if conditions change.

•      All persons should stay home if feeling ill. Any symptoms of illness should be reported to a coach or supervisor.

•      Masks are REQUIRED to be worn at all times entering Park or Practice location for all Coaches, Athletes, Team Personnel, Volunteers/ Staff, Officials, and Spectators over 12 years old.

—  Players only allowed to remove Mask once they are in designated ‘Personal Prep Station’ or in ‘Practice/Game’ activity.

•      Coaches, athletes, team personnel, volunteers/staff, officials and spectators must be screened for illness upon arrival to every practice and competition (or reporting to work at the venue) with the following questions:

—  Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days? (Note: This does not apply to medical personnel, first responders, or other individuals who encounter COVID-19 as part of their professional or care giving duties while wearing appropriate PPE.)

—  Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?

—  Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?

—  Have you had new loss of taste or smell?

—  Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

•      Persons who answer ‘Yes” to any of the screening questions above or exhibit these Covid-19 symptoms are to leave the premises immediately and seek medical care and/or Covid-19 testing.

FALL 2020 REFUNDS

Coaches meetings (for coaches ONLY) will take place at Heritage Park between Sept. 4 and 11. Watch for an invitation from your age group coordinator.

Games begin the week of Sept. 13. In the interest of thinning crowds, Youth League teams that normally play exclusively on Saturdays may have some games shifted to a weeknight. Your coach will supply your schedule.

Refunds will be offered on an ongoing basis. If, after the season begins, you determine you are no longer comfortable playing or the season is cancelled due to COVID-19, a pro-rated refund will be offered.

If, at any time, you determine you are no longer comfortable playing the Fall 2020 season, follow these steps to cancel your registration and request a refund/donate your fees:

Take these steps for EACH, individual player who is unable to play in Fall 2020.

STEP 1: Log in at www.ClarksvilleSoccer.net.

STEP 2: Click the name of the athlete who will NOT play in Fall 2020.

STEP 3: Next to the player’s name, click on “1 Programs Available!”.

STEP 4: Under “Refund Option Fall 2020” click “Sign Up for Wait List”, to add the individual player to the list of players who WILL NOT play in Fall 2020. It is NOT a wait list. It is just a list of players NOT playing for Fall 2020.

STEP 5: Move through a series of prompts, answering questions and noting whether you wish to donate your fees to MCSA or receive a refund.

Want a refund? Be sure your postal address is correct in your account.

The final screen will say you have a $0.00 balance. Don’t worry! This simply shows you owe MCSA nothing. It does NOT reflect what MCSA owes you. Your check will be mailed to the address listed in your account soon.

Please note we cannot refund the $3 processing fee Sports Connect charged. These funds are not in our possession, as they went directly to Sports Connect. Please direct concerns regarding refund of processing fees to Sports Connect via this form.

STEP 6: Repeat the previous five steps for EACH additional player whose registration should be cancelled for Fall 2020.

If you have questions about the upcoming season – or about coaching – please contact your Age Group Coordinator.
